1925-1931 Transmission Main Drive Bearing Retainer (with elastomer seal). This aluminum part remedies the problem of warp in the original pot-metal retainer and the elastomer seal prevents grease from leaking out of the front of the transmission. Comes with gasket. Only fits passenger and 1/2 ton truck with 3 speed transmission. Caution: Some transmission main drive shafts have a bleed hole forward of the main drive bearing. This hole appears to be somewhat random in its location. If the hole is present and located such that any part of it is within the range of 7/16" to 1/2" from the face of the main drive bearing, it is not recommended to use this retainer with seal. 1923-1931 Transmission Shaft Rebuild Kit Due to bushing and shaft wear the gears in the transmission are allowed to move away from each other, increasing the load on the gears and causing excessive noise. This kit contains a hardened and ground countershaft and reverse idler shaft, countershaft bushings, reverse idler bushings and the main drive gear bushing. The expansion plug and cotter pins required for assembly are also included. All parts are identical to the originals but with sintered bronze bushings for long life. Only fits passenger and 1/2 ton truck with 3 speed transmission. Otherwise if you just want the o-ring seal separately, please order below: 1925(series K) 1926-1933 U-Joint Ball Packing (Slip Seal) These early Chevrolets are notorious for leaking oil. This elastomer O-ring seal, which replaces the original cork, will help prevent transmission grease from leaking out of the U-joint enclosure. Only fits passenger and 1/2 ton truck with 3 speed transmission. This slip seal is included in transmission gasket sets 7026, 6029 and 5151A. Replaces GM part number 348132. 1925-1931 Rear Axle Inner Seal Assembly (with modern elastomer seal). These seals prevent the differential grease from reaching the axle outer bearing. If the seal fails, the grease passes through the bearing and through the outer seal (which is just felt) onto the rear brake drum. These assemblies are improved from the originals by having modern elastomer seals pressed in. 1926-1933 Propeller Shaft Packing This is a modern elastomer seal which exactly replaces the original cork and steel washers. Only fits passenger and 1/2 ton truck with 3 speed transmission. 1916-1929 Propeller Shaft Housing Bushing Identical to the original but with a sintered bronze bushing for long life. A bushing dowel is included. Only fits passenger and 1/2 ton truck. 1930-1933 Propeller Shaft Housing Bushing Has a sintered bronze bushing for long life. A bushing dowel is included. Only fits passenger and 1/2 ton truck .
1925-1931 Rear Axle Bearing Retainer Nut The nut that secures the bearing to the axle. Only fits passenger and 1/2 ton truck. 1932 Rear Axle Bearing Retainer Nut- Early Type same as above but for 1932 1923-1931 Rear Axle Bearing Lock The lock that secures the axle bearing nut from becoming loose.
